The “SHINE OUT!” Single’s Retreat at Tall Timbers Conference Center with special guest speaker – Moses Caesar. The Retreat begins on Friday, April 20th, with supper and finishes at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 21. Single’s Out To Lunch this month is at Chile Verde on Sunday, April 15th. We have two meeting times: 11:00 am and 12:05 pm. Come join with other singles as we break bread together and eat a little salsa too!

Single’s Nite @ the Chapel is scheduled for Friday, May 4th beginning at 6:00 pm. It all starts with a Potluck meal together (bring a dish and drink). We will fellowship and eat together and then head over to Bayou Bowl for some spares and strikes! Invite a friend!

Singles Mission Trip to WEWILLGO in Jackson MS

We had a tremendous time at WEWILLGO Ministry this past week organizing a clothing closet, painting, light construction work, repairs, prayer walking/driving, worshipping the Lord, doing Bible study together and sharing God’s love with others! We made some new friendships and saw God work mightly. You can see mission pictures on our singles facebook site. Stay tuned for our next mission trip!

SINGLES LABOR DAY EXPERIENCE AT RIDGECREST, NC

The Singles Labor Day Experience is simply amazing! This year’s theme for 2011 is ”Connecting: Gettin’, Bein’, & Stayin’ Connected to God, His Word, and Others” with a focus on John 15:4-5. Please pray for our group as we head-out this Thursday for Ridgecrest, NC!

Location: Crest Butte, CO Lodging – Chateaux Condominium Resort Charter Bus (57 spots) Dates: March 23 – 28, 2012

This Snow Ski Trip is open to everyone that attends North Monroe Baptist Church.

Here is the pricing… Adults: $499 (3 Nights lodging/ 3 Skiing & rentals)

Adult: $449 (3 Nights lodging/2 days skiing & rentals)

Adult/Child: $309 (3 Nights lodging – Non-Skier)

Youth: $489 (3 Nights lodging/3 Skiing & rentals)

Youth: $439 (3 Nights lodging/2 days skiing & rentals)

Child: $445 (3 Nights lodging/3 Skiing & rentals)

Child: $395 (3 Nights lodging/2 days skiing & rentals

Ski Trip Payments Schedule

Hello singles of northeast Louisiana! Summer is here and June is almost over! But, there are plenty of the events coming up in our Single Life Ministry at North Monroe Baptist Church. I hope you will come join us on this journey we call “life.”

Single Life - our time of fellowship, worship and relevant Bible study for area singles. For the next three weeks we are meeting in the Chapel and learning about youth trends. For singles stilled interested in meeting in The Single’s Big Room, Jay will be leading a topically Bible Study on Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. I hope you will come join us for one of these Bible Studies. You are always welcome to bring a friend too!
